Port Washington Skating Center offers skating, hockey, lessons, clinics, camps, leagues, ice rentals, parties, and other programs and services.
The information below outlines our general website, registration, payment, cancellation, and refund policies. Certain programs or services may have additional terms provided at the time of registration or booking.
Registration and Payment
Payment may be required at the time of registration, reservation, or purchase.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, participant, billing, and payment information when registering for or purchasing a program or service.
Registrations and reservations are subject to availability.
Prices, schedules, instructors, coaches, program details, and ice times may change when necessary.
If a particular program, league, camp, clinic, rental, or other service has specific terms or policies displayed during registration or booking, those terms will apply to that purchase.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase whenever possible.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program or service, refund requests must be made within the following timeframes:
Private Lessons
Cancellations must be executed a minimum of 6 hours before the scheduled lesson in order to receive a credit/refund. Lesson cancellations must be executed via the lesson booking application (not via phone, text or email).
Group Classes
Requests to cancel must be received via email to office@pwskating.com a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled start date of the class session in order to receive a credit/refund.
Private Ice Bookings
Cancellation or reschedule requests must be received via email to office@pwskating.com at least 14 days before the scheduled booking in order to receive a refund/credit.
League Fees
Requests to withdraw must be received via email to office@pwskating.com a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled start date of the league in order to receive a credit/refund.
Missed Sessions and Late Cancellations
Refunds are generally not available when a participant does not attend a scheduled lesson, session, program, or reservation or when a cancellation request is received after the applicable cancellation deadline.
If a specific program provides different cancellation, rescheduling, credit, or make-up policies, the terms provided for that program will apply.
Special Circumstances
We understand that circumstances outside a customer’s control may arise.
If you have a special circumstance that requires consideration outside of these guidelines, please contact Port Washington Skating Center via email to office@pwskating.com. Requests will be reviewed individually, but exceptions to the stated policies are not guaranteed.
Cancellations or Changes by Port Washington Skating Center
Port Washington Skating Center may occasionally need to cancel, reschedule, or modify a lesson, session, program, event, or reservation due to weather, facility conditions, scheduling issues, instructor or coach availability, or other circumstances.
When Port Washington Skating Center cancels an activity, we will provide information regarding any applicable rescheduling, credit, or refund options.
Program Schedules and Availability
Program schedules, session times, instructors, coaches, pricing, and availability are subject to change.
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on our website current and accurate. Customers should review current program and registration information when making a purchase or reservation.
Online Payments and Third-Party Services
Port Washington Skating Center may use third-party services to process payments, registrations, reservations, or other online transactions.
Use of those services may also be subject to the terms and policies of the applicable service provider.

Port Washington Skating Center may update, modify, or remove website content, programs, schedules, pricing, or services as needed.
